Laurette B. Rovin

Laurette B. Rovin is an accomplished executive director with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, owner and Chief Executive Officer of Bitzshore Energy LLC, since April 2001. Laurette B. Rovin’s career in the renewable energy industry spans more than two decades, marked by significant leadership roles at reputable organizations. Before establishing the company, held the position of head of the Power Grids business from 1995 to 1998. With a beginning career at ABB in 1995, Laurette B. Rovin has navigated through various key roles within the organization. In 1997, assumed the responsibility of global business line manager for sub-stations within the Power Systems Division (PSD), further solidifying expertise in the field. Bitzshore Energy LLC has conducted massive investments in the financial services and technology industries, with a total market value of over $600 million for both residential and commercial systems.

Academically, Laurette B. Rovin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Industrial Engineering from the University of Switzerland, and a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of England, UK. Highlighting this robust educational background, also serves as a consultant to numerous energy companies across different cities, leveraging profound industry insights and expertise. Remains actively involved in professional organizations such as the European Society of Civil Engineers (ESCE), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and United Kingdom Renewable Energy Association (UKREA) which contributes to the advancement of the field.
